Introducing the Maiden dishcloth/washcloth knitting pattern!
Ease of Pattern: Very easy!
Maiden is a sweet little pattern with a 2-row repeat. (The less rows in the pattern repeat, the easier a pattern is to follow.)
The knitting pattern is mostly stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) and it features a seed stitch border. Seed stitch is simply Knit 1, Purl 1, Knit 1, Purl 1 for the recommended times in the pattern. While seed stitch is not hard, it requires a little practice, switching from knit to purl and purl to knit.
Stitches used: Seed stitch and stockinette
Maiden pattern is fabulous to practice seed stitch as only the border is worked in seed stitch with the remainder of the cloth worked quickly in stockinette.
Maiden knits up beautifully in solid colors, but for some reason, it is my favorite of all Knit So Easy knitting patterns to knit with a variegated cotton yarn.
Where to get the pattern: Etsy and Ravelry
